On Oct 6, 2020, Google announced that they were renaming the G Suite set of apps "Google Workspace".

What does this mean for Drew users?

At the moment, not much.

Education customers will continue to use our current tools - Gmail, Drive, Calendar, etc - without any difference. Google plans to "roll out Google Workspace to education and nonprofits over time".

If you visit sites like the Learning Center, you will notice the name change. Over the next few weeks, you will also start to see new icons for some of the Google tools.
